Our company was founded by Elmo Aponte, whose passion for firearms developed through his 15 years of experience as a federal law enforcement officer. Carrying a firearm daily for duty sparked an interest that evolved into a deep understanding and appreciation for the importance of proper firearm handling and safety. Elmo's extensive background in high-stakes environments uniquely prepared him to become a certified NRA Firearms Instructor and Range Safety Officer. Our goal in starting Downrange Precision was to share this expertise with others, providing a solid foundation for anyone looking to handle firearms responsibly and confidently.
